On the weekend I took possession of a new toy.

Those who know me know I love, adore and am addicted to geeky gadgets. (And even non-geeky ones. I never fail to get a giggle out of my salt and pepper grinders — or perhaps it’s the reaction of the unsuspecting users that makes me giggle! Nevertheless, gadgets please me.)

The Sony Ericsson m600i is not a new phone to the market — in fact, quite the opposite, it’s a run-out model — but it’s more gadgety and geeky, with its biggish touch screen, than my old phone (Sony Ericsson k800i, which I actually really love) and the deal with 3 was pretty darned good value compared to the other offerings out there.

And the rest, as “they” say, is history.
